Halloween candy is good, but Halloween specialty cocktails are better! It’s Happy Hour somewhere or should we say Haunting Hour? We found a few fun-spirited places that you need to be at this Hollows Eve. Here are a few spooky cocktails you can sink your teeth into tonight around Hermosa Beach:
The Haunted Husk at Laurel Tavern – Trick-or-treat! General manager, Lee Farrell, created this candy-topped concoction for your inner kid. A mix of Wild Turkey whiskey, spiced liqueur, lemon, egg white and simple syrup meet with a frothy top and a sprinkle of crushed candy corn M&M’s.
The Dark Knight at The Standing Room – Get a kick out of this Halloween at The Standing Room’s happy hour, live music, and tall burgers matched with this short glass of bourbon. The American-Korean eatery adds some sweetness and spice with maple syrup, cold brew coffee, and a single cinnamon stick for garnish.
The Ghost at Shade Hotel – This fun fright can be seen roaming through Shade Hotel’s Halloween Circus tonight at 7pm. Whipped up in a martini glass from gin, lemon juice, Luxardo Maraschino liquer and crème de violette, this ghost will send shivers down your spine.
