Coming up this Sunday October 28th, the annual Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk is returning to Manhattan Beach Pier.
3.5 mile walk around Manhattan Beach Pier benefiting children with special needs and education. This family friendly day features a Kids Zone with fun and games like bouncy castles as well as world famous pumpkin races.
Sunday, October 28th at 9:00 a.m. Registration starts at 8:00 a.m.
Parking at the beach can be challenging, so be sure to arrive early and carpool if possible. Please note that parts of Manhattan Blvd near the pier will be closed due to the pumpkin races.
Registration is $30 per person online, which includes participation in the walk, a special t-shirt and a gift bag. Registration is also available on the day, of for $35. For more information visit their official site here.
Co-hosted by the Skechers Foundation and the Friendship Foundation Mission, this event centers around children. The Skechers Foundation aims to strengthen communities worldwide by investing in children and empowering youth. The Friendship Foundation Mission is native to the South Bay and celebrates the uniqueness and individuality of children.
