Calling all lobster lovers! The 22nd Annual Redondo Beach Lobster Festival will take place from September 22 to September 24 this year. Claw your way on over to Seaside Lagoon, where you’ll find music, food, local beer, cocktails, the beach and more for a small fee of $35 for a weekend pass. Curious about the food? There are a variety of dinner packages you can get, like the Small Louie Dinner, which includes a 1.25lb Maine Lobster, buttered and herbed red potatoes, buttery dipping sauce, coleslaw and a roll. Not enough? Indulge in the Big Louie Dinner, which includes a 2lb Maine Lobster!
In addition to the Lobster Meals, this year’s Signature Chef, Jessica Jordan, of Fishbar Manhattan Beach, will be plating small versions of her popular Lobster Bistro items like Lobster Mac n Cheese, Lobster Stuffed Quesadilla, Lobster Roll and more! If you’re not a fan of lobster, don’t worry! There is a Steak Dinner you can purchase as well.
Not hungry? Just come for the entertainment! Bands like Wayward Sons, English Beat and Flashback Heart Attack will be headlining each night, with other bands performing throughout the day. There will also be stand-up paddle board demonstrations and a kiddie area, complete with face painting and balloon art.
Really feel like going for it? Avoid lines and enjoy table service and private restroom facilities by purchasing a VIP package for a unique experience within the festival. In addition to admission, the package includes a Small Louie Dinner, access to the full bar, two drink tickets, eskimo pie and a souvenir – well worth it, if you ask us!
