“While we aspire to offer the community a fresh perspective on Italian cuisine, we want the menu and beverage program to pay tribute to the California sensibility that defines us on a personal level.” – Co-owner Guy Gabriele

Manhattan Beach continues to be a culinary hotspot in the Greater Los Angeles area. This fall the highly anticipated opening of Love & Salt in Manhattan Beach is quickly approaching its grand debut. This Italian inspired restaurant is named for the team’s shared philosophy that great food only needs love and salt. Love & Salt brings together Chef Fiorelli and Rebecca Merhej, alums from Terranea Resort and owners Guy & Sylvie Gabriele, a father and daughter team. This place will surely be a hot spot for South Bay locals and destination foodies!

Located just steps away from the beach, Love & Salt draws inspiration from its iconic Southern California location by using local ingredients and vendors that make Los Angeles a sought out destination to dine in. Love & Salt’s menu, designed by Chef Fiorelli and Merhej, will feature housemade breads and pastas, wood oven pizzas, small plates, larger shareable entrees and even “nose-to-tail” bites for the more adventurous palates. The classic desserts, created by Pastry Chef Merhej, are designed to top off their fabulous menu.

Love & Salt showcases a full bar to draw in locals and solo diners to drop by for a quick bite, classic cocktail or aperitif. Their wine list is thoughtfully composed by Owner Guy Gabrielle to reflect both of their California and Italian influences. The restaurant’s team is looking forward to give the South Bay community a fresh perspective on Italian cuisine and they are looking forward to open their doors this fall.

Love & Salt will be open nightly for dinner at 317 Manhattan Beach Blvd. in the near future. To stay updated, follow them on Instagram and Twitter: @LoveandSaltLA
