Located just steps from the beach is one of Hermosa’s hottest restaurants, Dia de Campo. When you first walk into Dia de campo, you know it’s not your average Mexican food restaurant. It’s interior is rustic and chic, has big leather couches in the front area and red brick walls. It calls itself a “modern surf lodge” and is a mexican-ish restaurant focusing mainly on seafood dishes. The menu offers tons of your Mexican dish favorites with a twist. This beach spot is a must for anyone in Hermosa Beach and a thing for spicy food!
Mexican Street Corn

Big A$$ Carnitas – As the name suggests, it’s huge. The carnitas comes on the bone, served with all the goods – fried beans and rice, tortillas, and salsa verde. This is a shareable plate and is meant to feed between 2-3 amigos.
And for dessert… Churros. These churros just aren’t fair. They put the ones you get at Disneyland to shame. They come out fresh out of the oven, rolled in sugar and cinnamon, and are topped with lime zest. As if that wasn’t enough, they are served with dark chocolate dipping sauce….
